Kharazmi Pharmaceutical Company was founded in December 1963 on Shahrara Street in Tehran. In 1986, with the expansion of its activities and products, the company changed its name to Kharazmi Pharmaceutical Company. In 1996, with the development of production lines and products, the company relocated to kilometer 9 of the Karaj Special Road.
Kharazmi Pharmaceutical Company is located on a 24,000 square meter plot and operates three separate buildings for production and administrative purposes. The production unit spans 7,000 square meters across two floors. All production lines at the company include the manufacturing of various tablets, capsules, syrups, oral drops, ointments, sprays, and oral antibiotics, all in compliance with GMP regulations.
The company, in collaboration with its sister units including Eltiam National Pharmaceutical Distribution Company, Kimia Asar Salamat Company, Kharazmi Plasma Company, and Payesh Tejarat Kharazmi International Trading Company, has taken steps to complete the supply chain and enhance its product offerings.
By adhering to WHO regulations and GMP standards, Kharazmi Pharmaceutical Company has quickly established itself as one of the reputable companies in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently, the company manufactures approximately 150 different pharmaceutical products.

The company is also one of the largest producers of various types of syrups in Iran and, in its medium-term strategy, seeks to upgrade its position to the level of the first and largest producer of liquids.
